Movies are my life

Plot: After the disastrous food storm in the first film, Flint and his friends are forced to leave the town. Flint accepts the invitation from his idol, Chester V. to join the Live Corp Company, which has been tasked to clean the island, and where the best inventors in the world create technologies for the betterment of mankind. When Flint discovers that his machine still operates and now creates mutant food beast like living pickles, hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, and apple pie-thons, he and his friends must return to save the world.

My Quick Review of the Plot: I’m sorry to say this guys but… I’m not interested in this plot at all. The first movie was the one that got me liking movies in the first place, but when I heard that they are making a sequel, I was so happy. But after I read the plot, my hopes of a great sequel to the first went down.

Cons: The fact are that Mr. T declined to reprise his role of Earl, I don’t mind him getting replaced by Terry Crews (the handsome sexy OLD SPICE guy), but I find Mr. T is makes a better Earl than he his.

There is gonna be a new talking orangutan character named Barb, voiced by Kristen Schaal. I know it sounds good but in my opinion, I just don’t want a new Steve, I prefer the movie if there was just one lovable talking animal.

I don’t mind that it’s gonna be directed by Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn. But I thought that Phil Lord and Chris Miller (directors of the first film, executive producers on the second) would’ve made it better.

Pros: I love Mark Mothersbaugh, he makes film scores. Especially when you’re a Sims 2 fan/player (he composes the music for Sims 2.)

I would love to see Flint and the gang again. (I used to have a crush on Flint, so I’m glad :D)

Overall Plot score: 7.5/10 - Maybe in time my mind will change about the plot and the movie. I’ll go see this movie. Even though it has a few changes, I will still love it, since I’m a long-time Cloudy fan.

Looks like 2013 is a good year for movies! Can’t wait til’ they spill the plot of Despicable Me 2!
